Comic Crafters: Comics Art for Teens (13-18 yrs)

Comics art is a dynamic form of storytelling that allows creators to craft entire worlds from scratch, including characters brimming with personality and depth. From conceptualising the narrative arc to bringing characters to life with vibrant illustrations, the process of creating a comic is a journey of creativity and imagination. For kids and teens, learning comic art offers many benefits beyond artistic expression. It nurtures critical thinking skills as they plot out storylines and solve visual storytelling challenges. Moreover, it fosters literacy and communication skills as they craft dialogue and captions to convey their narrative. Harsho Mohan Chattoraj is a Kolkata-based graphical novelist and illustrator with over 18 years of experience in the comic medium. Renowned for his imaginative storytelling, his recent graphic novels include "Ghosts of Kingdoms Past", "Chakrapurer Chakkare", "Hyderabad Graphic Novel", "Kolkata Kaleidoscope" and "Dhyanchand". Beyond his contributions to the world of comics, Chattoraj has also excelled in various roles including journalism, visualization, storyboarding, voice-over artistry, and promo production. With a passion for comics ignited at the tender age of five, Chattoraj's journey in the artistic realm has been expansive, spanning individual projects as well as collaborations with clients in India, the UK, and the US. His creativity continues to captivate audiences, making him a distinguished figure in the realm of graphic storytelling.
